Cyclical Sound - Inner Driver's Side Rear Tire Wear

I have recently been hearing a cyclical voom-voom-voom sounds while driving, most noticeable around 20-40mph. I thought it was coming from the front, and I could not figure it out. Today I changed to winter tires/wheels and found the driver's side rear tire was worn on the inside. The wear is not uniform; it is spots with gaps around the inside. Most are like the one pictures, but one spot does seem worse than the others. I noticed the shock boot was torn when the wheel was off. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you!

jack that wheel up. take both hands and apply strong pressure, back and forth at 12 and 6 oclock. then again at 3 and 9 oclock. somewhere there will be play/looseness. have someone look with a flashlight to see what is moving that should not be. you probably have a bad ____insert any front suspension component____

there should be no play in any direction.

Tire is out of balance, shock is shot, tread is gone, you are into wear indicators, less than 3/32. I would also have 4 wheel alignment done on a Hunter Codelink, it grabs your steering angle from the sensor. not every tech has experience with mercedes rear. You could install German made Bilstein shocks cheaper than Mecedes ones B6 are the upgraded offer, B4 are the same cushy ride.
