HELP! Reverse gear / possible torque issue?Hello, newbie here.
I have a 2011 E Class 220 automatic diesel and today the car would not engage reverse gear and went into some sort of limp mode?

I could see from the dash that reverse gear was selected but it was just revving and not moving. It also went into some sort of underpowered limp mode to get home. When I turned the ignition off and on again only then could I use reverse as normal and the limp mode stopped?

I have a fault light on the dash so taking it in tomorrow but worried to death this could be expensive as could be torque converter?

Anyone have experience if this?
