rear passenger window shade

I owned an 05 with the rear passenger window shades that roll into the door panel until I was rear ended by a Tahoe. I'm shopping newer w211s and I'm finding that a lot of them do not have the passenger window shades the roll into the door panel slot. Is it as simple as finding new door panels that DO have the slotted window shades? IIRC there's also a hook at the top of the door that the shades latch onto. How easy or difficult is it to add this option to any potential w211 I might buy? Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

Without busting your B. First check the two part numbers in EPC and then you can intelligently make the decision on whats required ..............your way, your blowing SUA and get nowhere

Roller blind left 21181003209B51, right 21181004209B51; bracket both sides (top hook) 2118120414 / screw 0019905122. Requires dedicated door panel in which case VIN of receiving vehicle is needed to match equipment/color.

I added rear blinds to my E55 not long after buying it. It's a pain, getting the new door panels correctly installed, but not impossible. I think I paid $150 or so for both door panels and the upper window surround trim.

Thanks a bunch. So what do I do with that? Hit up the parts department at my nearest dealer with those parts numbers and give them my VIN for the inside door panel?

Thanks so much for the replies guys. I miss my W211 sooooo much, I'm dieing to get a new one and I just love those door panel window shades.
