05 w211 cdi scanner
I am looking to pick up a good diagnostic scanner that will also retract the brakes so I can replace them. I don't want lift all the tires off the ground and jump though hoops to do my brakes . As I see some people do . Don't want to drop alot of money on star either.

I bought icarsoft for MB for $140. It has saved various trips to mechanics or workshops. It's good to have something like this at home with these cars.

Thanks that one tends to be the most popular when I search online. Figure I will be doing brakes eventually so I wanted to get something to help with it.

If u disconnect the sbc main cable with the unit u can work on the brakes

I have a Foxwell NT520 for Mercedes that can deactivate, activate, bleed and provide live data for SBC. It also has some coding abilities on the 211. I picked it up on eBay for $150. In my opinion it's way more powerful than the icarsoft for similar cost.

No. You said it can "deactivate, activate, bleed and provide live data for SBC. It also has some coding abilities on the 211". The iCarsoft MB ii does that as well. |
I got the iCarsoft MB II. Good enough for my needs...

Thanks guys , I picked up a icarsoft mb2. I didn't see any real bad reviews about them.
