Last weekend I replaced the lower control arms and noticed that the shocks seem to have spacers in them? Can anyone confirm this? I have always hated the stance of the vehicle and have been looking at coil-overs to drop the front end. The shocks are part # a 211 320 22 38. If these are spacers, I should be able to remove them and the car should have a lower stance, correct? Second question, why would these be on the car if they are indeed spacers? Thanks for any help you can provide!
The Sachs shocks I installed on my car have a ring under the lower spring perch that can adjust ride height without changing springs. It dropped the ride height quite a bit in the lowest setting.
