E 550 Fuse pannel???

What fuse controls the auto dimming mirrors and where can I find it? Is it under the hood or ??? I found where it said it was the #9 fuse, but not sure? The car keeps draining the battery and I noticed that the chemical that dims the mirror on the driver's mirror had melted. Any help with that? This is a 2004 E 550 sedan with 80,000+ miles. It's not my car, but my neighbors.

Rear SAM f9 = overhead control panel (OCP). Mirror lens is easily replaced, need VIN if you want part #. Doubt this is the cause. Two techniques to identify battery drain, see attachments.

Thanks! Is there a fuse for the auto dimming mirrors? We see the driver's mirror has melted and would like to disconnect it. The car has a new battery and it started and ran fine. After three days of starting and running, the battery just drained to the point that it's not charging (it could be a defective battery). We disconnected the battery and we're charging it now.

No dedicated fuse, remove mirror glass top disconnect electrical connection.
