Dashboard storage card holder stuck
Good day everyone,
I recently purchased a 2008 E350 4Matic Sport Package car. Unfortunately the business card holder/storage cubby that pushes to slide out (next to glovebox release/lock button) was depressed and then stayed in the dash and won’t slide out. How would I get it to release/come out? I hope I don’t have to take a bunch of the dash apart.

Spray it with some lubricant on the sides so it can penetrate the rail. Its probably gued up from spilled liquids or debris.

Spring may be dislodged. Unfortunately need to open in order to remove complete assembly for inspection, see attachment.
