I want a good touring car if I want to take a trip away we go any info what I should look for issues etc

You'll be fine as long as you don't want to sit in the back seat. I'm also 6'4" and fit in my W211 E63 comfortably. Have done 6+ hours straight and didn't feel like I ever needed to get out to stretch or anything.

try and get as late a model as you can, late 211's and early 212's had a major engine problem with the balance shafts (M272 motors) after 09 and later was corrected.
