Strange irregular sound from engine

I hear strange knocking sound from engine bay on my W211 E550 facelift (OM273). Apart from that, engine has full power, no hesitation to accelerate. I am not sure where it is coming from. What could it be

I would start with checking the belt tensioner. Look down at it, is it moving when you hear the clicking?
