Front license plate holder
Good evening all. I'm looking for a license plate holder for my 2006 E350 wagon. I have looked on line and haven't seen anything. Thanks

Those holders are not only expensive, but they are UGLYy.
I have MB plate frames and I bend them, including the plate to bumper shape. Than couple of plumbers's washers under the screws and all looks good.
That ebay listing is for pre-lift models. Post-lift have nice plow, what makes the holder even uglier.

That looks like it will fit on my E320 but not my E350. The bumper shapes are different .Is there some kind of bracket needed. I'm about to say the heck with it.
Thanks

No chance, no holder around that compensates the "edge" of our facelift bumpers, not even for european plates.
Here in Austria we are allowed to use one license plate on up to 3 cars ("Wechselkennzeichen"), so I always have to bend it and bend it back...
Weird car design.

Our E500 Wagon came with one of those popular MB emblemized polished stainless steel front plates with the factory molded plastic plate holder on the bumper. Since our state doesn't require a front plate I usually remove these type of items from any car we get to make it look better.
i removed it from the E500 and for some reason it did not look as good as it did with the plate holder and polished plate on it . So I put it back on. I don't know if it was lack of chrome on the bumper or the large gaping lower grill that made it not look as good as it did with the plate on it. Weird.

Some states don't require front plates and my latest W212 come with no bracket, no holes for the plates.
I register it in Nevada, who does require front plates, but just like in California - not too many owners observe the law and there is no enforcement. So my 2nd plate rest in the trunk... just in case.
Worse come to worse, suppose all you can get is "fix it" ticket with no penalty.
