what part #s did you end up getting? I am looking to do my front LCA bushings since unlike the rear control arm there are no inexpensive replacement LCAs with fresh bushings.
I don't really want to pay for a new set of front LCAs for my 4matic wagon if the bushings can be pressed out/replaced.
I wonder if the bushing tool like for the rear subframe to LCA bushing will work. I have the $40 version of the bushing tool and if that would work, it would be a nice.

I purchased the bushings from FCP euro which was a kit and I got the tool that was mentioned before by F1Fan from FCP also.
These are the bushings that I got: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...ine-2209900099
but there are cheaper ones but they are sold seperatly.
Also, what tool are you talking about for the rear LCA bushings?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have 2009 MB E350 4Matic.
I have bought the front replacement bushing kit from FCP euro but could not find a tool to extract the bushing out.
Is there a special tool for this?

I could be totally wrong, but I believe the front inner LCA bushing on 4matic are supposed to be non-serviceable. I think you could probably do it though it would require the correct size bushing removal tool. Maybe if you measure the bushing you can find the correct sized one via Google.

i did some finding thanks to emanualonline, attached doc has the tool description (part # 210 589 00 43 00) to extract the bushing but the tool is $$$.
I am may just buy the control arm instead.

Hi Jothy,
I would replace the upper ones if the ball joints feel loose or you hear some noise. Also if when you undo the ball joint from the knuckle you can move the ball joint very easily and it makes noise. Also if the bushings look cracked. On the late models of the 211 like yours and mine the upper control arm is one piece.
