E350 V6 Short serpentine belt mod - HELP!
Help: I need some advice. I need a short belt mod to bypass the A/C pump.
my car has been making that wailing noise which I thought was the Power steering pump. Turns out it was the A/c pump.
When driving, my pump seized and the clutch and bearing ate itself shredding the belt.
Has anyone bypassed the a/c? what length belt do I need for this?
I just need a temporary fix for a couple of months. Can't really be without my car.
Please help, I know it's a 6PK but as to what length would work?
and I can't measure the belt, as its shredded and I have a pulley missing from the A/c pump!

take some floss or string and use it to measure the belt length you need to bypass the AC compressor. i did some searching and i cant find a recommended belt length.

I found that 6PK2310 fits. for the M272 engine to bypass the AC
In another issue, the high pitched whine in my car was the ac compressor. It's got me back on the road and thanks guys for your help.
