iPod cable won't charge

2006 E350: Battery died because the door was left open and now the Ipod cable will not charge my iPod? Is there a fuse I need to check? Is there a way to reboot the COMAND to see if that will fix it?

Remove the relevant fuse for a minute or two, then plug it back in.

I saw that on other threads- question... should the car be on? Key in the ignition turned one click or removed all together? Thank you
