Did I get a good deal?
I am new to the Mercedes-Benz world and have found this site to be awesome! I currently frequent the Corvette forum (1992 ZR-1), the Corral (Supercharged 1994 Mustang) and TurboBuick.com (1986 Grand National). This is my first Benz and it is doing bad things to me. All of the other cars just don't compare in terms of comfort and quality. I may end up being an E55 owner by the end of the year if I liquidate to above inventory.
Anyway, I purchased a 2003 E500 recently and was wondering if I got as good of a deal as I think I did. Here are the specs:
2003 E500, Obsidian Black with Ash interior (love those carpeted door sills)
33,000 miles
Sport package (17" wheels, body panels, Bird's Eye Maple, etc.)
Distronic
Parktronic
HK sound system with CD changer
Heated seats and steering wheel
Headlight washers
Bi-xenon lights
Moonroof
The car is in near perfect condition with just a few stains on the floor mats and the wonderful door sills. I was able to get this car for $47,900. To me this was a steal for a car like this that has this many options. The mileage is a little high but the car is in very good shape.
Does this seem like a good deal? If I were to sell some of the other cars quickly do you think I could at least get my money back out of the E500 in order to upgrade to an E55? Thanks for your time.
Mike
