Flex Disc Crises Question
Hi All!
Replacing the front flex disc on an '03 E500... the new Febi disc does not have the the indication in German as to which way the disc should face. There's lots of writing and symbols on one side. Is this the side that faces the driveshaft as some of the literature states? Many images show the opposite.
Also, the bolts that were provided are two different sizes, whereas the originals are all one size. Thoughts?
I'm stuck with the car up in the air, so any help is greatly appreciated. I thought I understood how the original was oriented, but at my age I can't remember if I had breakfast, or not.

I know you’re finished but fyi it says “writing faces back of the car” in the above link. “Diese seite in der hinteren”. This side to the rear.

Got it. I can read German. However, the point was that this instructional text is not on the part I bought and installed, so an alternate way of understanding the direction the disc faces was required.
