HELP Blown Transmission Won’t Start
While accelerating to switch lanes in my 2005 E500 RWD the car completely slipped out of gears into neutral it felt like. so I pull over to see if the gears would engaged in P, D, N, Etc but no luck the car would only rev and not move so I tried to restart the car but when I turned it off it wouldn’t turn back on and wouldn’t even crank. Prior to this happening I was having problems with my transmission slipping while cold. My guess is the transmission is cooked. But why wouldn’t it start ??? pls help thanks in advance

Not sure why your car would not start, (Camshaft position sensor??) but as far as the tramsission, you might get away with a few fluid changes. That may bring the transmission back to life.
