w211 E200CDI 2007,Drive axle out of differential housing
anyone have a walkthroug on how to get the axle out off the housing, do i have to open the diff or is here a C-clip on the outside??

2005 E320 CDI, 2015 GLA 250
As I recall when I did the LR differential seal on my ‘05 CDI, it was a spring clip. I just had to pull hard and the axle popped out. Maybe a big screw driver. But not enough to damage the metal shield over the lip seal.
