05 e320 cdi blown head gasket
Coolant level had been decreasing and needed to be topped from time to time. No obvious leak. It's gotten worse in the last 2 weeks. I went ahead and replaced the original radiator since I had a replacement on hand. Prior to swapping it the car gave a oil level sensor malfunction. I swapped the radiator changed the oil and level sensor. The oil was black but it looked like it may have had coolant swirls. I changed the oil and tested it out. Upon checking the oil with a garage dip stick I found the creamy milkshake crap. Drained the oil and sure enough it was full of coolant. I took off the oil cooler and pressurized it under water and it appears to be intact. The gasket for the cooler is only about 4 years old and still feels soft. I am afraid I have a dreaded blown head gasket. I'm not aware of any other way coolant can make its way to the oil pan. Anyone have any input?

You can perform a HC test on the coolant and pressurize the cylinder to see if you get bubbles in the expansion tank.
Sometimes leak only show warm or cold… besides the HG and oil cooler, no other place for coolant to mix with engine oil. Well, besides a cracked block or head.

Thanks again for the reply. Unfortunately, this booger can't be moved to have it tested. At this point I think it a forgone conclusion that at very least the head gasket crapped the bed. Hopefully it's not the block or the head. We shall see. I'll update what I find. Thanks for your input.
