Shift module reassembly question

Any help appreciated guys! I have a 2005 e320 CDI with 218000 miles. Got it for $1000 with a bad ECU. Got about $6000 in it! I love this car! Anyway I got put into limp model and scanned it with my MB II scanner and the transmission showed code 240 shift position unknown! I found the thread about the cracked solder joints so I took it apart to check! I couldn’t see any cracks but I hit it with the solder tool on a couple that looked funny. So during reassembly I cracked the shaft follower and repaired that with two part epoxy. Went to put it back together and I can’t recall how the three components in the middle of the pic go back together. Does anyone know of a diagram or picture of this assembly? I’m almost done with this and this is the only holdup! If it doesn’t work I’m gonna explore a refurbished unit. Do they have to be programmed? Thanks for any assistance btw!!!!

Three pieces on the right middle.

You did not need to pull it apart to get to the shift lever detection sensor. If you obtain a replacement shift module, however, you do not need to program it to the car. Based upon a previous post by another user, a brand new one must be "activated" but can then be interchanged among different cars. For now, you're going to have to figure it out like a puzzle.
