Scanng through a myriad of post's I'm unable to resolve my problem.
I own w211 280 with the standard radio setup. I have seen command sat navs for sale on Ebay for a few quid .
Question if I bought a command Sat Nav would I need any wiring or extra bits to make it work

With my 05 W211 (to get the navigation working) I also needed the truck mounted dvd player nav module and hooked up the optical lines. Then make sure they are programmed to start communicating. Maybe just a restart of the optical ring might be enough through a scanner. I have everything connected but the nav disc update is giving me a fit to load to the head unit. As time permits for me.
