Can my car keys switch driver settings?

I'm trying to find if this setting is in my car but cant. My previous car (Lexus GS300) had it. Would be a shame if it didnt. I know, I know. No way on earth should I let my girlfriend drive my car. What can I say, I'm smitten. LOL.

Yes, it's there. The full details are in the manual, but the option is on the multi-function panel: "Key-dependent settings" as I recall.

Yes, in set up its called "Key Dependent? Y/N"

Well sort of :) It is in the manual, after a fashion, in a brief kind of way, dotted about in several different places. I still have not got it to work. And I have tried quite hard.

I think the manuals are VERY POOR, considering the complexity of this vehicle.

I agree. The manuals are poorly written for such a complex vehicle...but quite wordy considering not much info changes hands. However, most of the folks here don't agree.
