2008 E350 intermittent no crank
2008 E350 four matic with the v6 intermittent no crank. When it cranks it starts.
I have replaced the battery in the fob and cleaned the bottom of the fob and the lens on the door on the ignition switch. Now it displays "remove key" never did that before.

The battery is for opening/closing the doors. Keyless go, etc.
You should be able to take it off, and start the car w/o it.
