Hello guys, im wondering if anyone would kindly help me with this issue that im having with my 2003 Mercedes benz e320 RWD
So, my rear tail lights are constantly out except the running lights on the right side and other than that nothing is working, I’ve checked the wiring in the rear SAM and checked the fuses and everything is looking fine, when I asked the guy I bought the car from he said at some point someone spilled a drink in the front passenger seat or on the footwell idk maybe that’s the problem. Is there a control module that powers the tail lights under that passenger seat or underneath the carpet? someone please help 😭
Also the trunk won’t open with the remote or from the inside, i have to use the metal key to unlock it
if you guys know what part that im supposed to change, can someone send me the part number so i can fix this?

I replaced the rear SAM and it fixed all the problems that i was having, such as rear tail lights not working and trunk latch, rear seat headrest not going down automatically
the part number and everything will be included in a screenshot
i hope this helps anyone who is having a similar problem
