I discovered oil residue on my passenger side boost hose and am ready to just order new replacement hoses but it looks like it might be coming from this component that the boost hose connects to. There is soot on that side of my engine bay as well
Does anyone have an om642 and can help me source potential oil leaks and gaskets to replace outside of the oil cooler mine was done already.
I have a new dpf and driven about 7k miles since a new oil change and sensors. the car is asking for oil every 1200-1400 miles and I’m finding about a quart or 2 low. Is this a normal symptom with older om642s and something I should just expect or time to do something about?

I am looking to get the crankshaft seal + oil cooler seals changed.
