Headlight / mirror turn signal
Loving my 2009 W211. I had a strange thing happen, hope somone can point me in the right direction. Prior to this, the right turn signal located on right mirror had one of several bulbs go out. The housing was cracked so I ordered new one.
OK:Right parking light bulb was out. I replaced it, it works, and immediately the right low beam went out, and the rest of the right mirror turn signal stopped working. I relplaced the miror turn signal with new one and it still does not work.
I replaced the right headlight low beam 2x with new bulbs, neither one worked. The low beam light was fine prior to the parking light swap.
Incidentally the wiring insulation is shot at the headlamps, I imagine I caused a short when changing the parking light, that effected only the low beam and wing mirror turn signal on the right. so I will be tearing apart and refinishing the headlight lenses and rewiring the headlights.
I am not convinced that the light will work once that is done. Anyone know which relays or fuses control /protect the right headlight, and is there any link between the right wing turn signal. (the bumper turn signal works fine).
Any other thoughts or guidance is apprecited!

My wiring insulation inside the housing is cracked in many places, xenon, Hella didn‘t use high enough temp rating on that wire. I am replacing both headlights. Not cheap!
