Wipers stopped working
My front windshield wipers stopped working recently and I've found very little info on diagnosing and fixing these. Pelican parts does have a video on how to replace the motor but how do I know it's the motor. The guy in the video also said MB doesn't sell the motor, sooo...? Hoping someone can help.
The left one did seem to be swinging a little too far bumping the molding for a few weeks, then they became erratic for a day, then the just stopped. They won't work on any setting.
Facts:
- The rear wiper which is on the same tree works fine
- The fuse (#56) to the wiper motor was blown but I replaced it, and it still doesn't work. AND the new fuse does not blow. I even tried a few different 40 am fuses and none work, none blew.
- The washer fluid pump does work when pressed
1) Given the above, is it safe to say that the switch on the tree is not the problem?
2) I've read about a bad relay, but I can't find any info on which relay goes to the wiper. I looked here but found nothing that says wiper relay.

3) How do I know of its the switch, relay, or motor? I don't want to go pulling the motor if that's not the problem.
Any help is appreciated.

To assess what's happening use an mb scanner to diagnose modules. Wipers are managed by the driver side SAM.
