soft close trunk not working...

soft close trunk not working...

trunk latch works from drivers door, key fob, handle above lic plate and button inside trunk
license plate lights, trunk lighting, 3rd brake light and 12v plug in trunk all work.
Problem is electric soft close feature not functioning.
I have looked at the wiring on the drivers side hinge area, no apparent breaks in the wires.
I cant find info on a certain fuse, relay, etc to check.
Would anyone be able to offer some insight please.
** motor that lowers the trunk lid works when 12v is applied.
