I need some help with my audio system (NTG 2.5) in my 2009 E350. The unit was working fine with no issues until my car battery died. After this I encountered the below 2 issues.
DVD system keeps on trying to load the disk but fails. I had only 1 CD in the system and it was playing fine till my car battery died. It has been a long time since I loaded or ejected a disk but was always playing the 1 disc I had in the system. I am not able to eject the disk nor play it. The clicking sound has gotten worsen recently.
SD Card option is always disabled. I tried inserting multiple SD cards from 2GB to 32GB with no luck. It seems to get enabled in Engineering mode. I am not sure if this is a software or hardware issue. I was using 32GB SD card before the issue and it was playing fine.
I have never updated the software in the unit.
I have attached the software version for your reference. Please let me know if you guys need any more info. I would appreciate if anybody can help me with the above 2 issues. Thanks for your help and time.
