sunroof maintenance

sunroof maintenance
There seems to be a small metal box behind the sunroof thats preventing the shade from fully closing , does anyone know if this is normal and what this box is ??

Remove the box and you shall know. Looks like someone hide or lost that box.

Looks like a candy tin. Whoever put it there was hiding their breath mints or their marijuana joints.

Sunroof maintenance conclusion

So i was able to drop half the headliner and got the mystery box out, its full of Xanax pills. I'll be turning them in to our local.police.

Okay, folks, while we're on the sunroof subject, what's recommended for maintenance. Apply lubricant? Of course keep the tracks clean.

What else, how to best maintain the sunroof?
