Sedan & Coupe at MB Anaheim
If in southern CA Friday evening 5/15 (5:30 - 8:30 PM) & Saturday 5/16 (all day) you can preview the 2010 E-Class sedan & coupe (official launch late June) at MB Anaheim. No affiliation just passing along a message received from Todd Carter, General Sales Manager.

I went to MB Anaheim and checked it out. Overall, I really like the W212. The coupe is amazing, and I'm pretty sure one of my next cars will be the E550 coupe. I really liked it. The sedan (without AMG package) isn't as bad as it looks in pics, but it's not the greatest either. The sedan with the AMG package, however, is pretty good looking. The interior is amazing. It definitely feels much more solid than the W211. They had an E550 sedan in the show room and the interior was awesome. I like it more than the W221. For some reason, it just feels more luxurious. The E coupe feels really nice with the roof open and the windows down. I really liked the pillarless effect. The interior also seems up to par in there as well. Overall, I was impressed with the W212.
P.S. they have a brand new '08 SL55 silver/black MSRPing at $138k and they were offering around $40k off. They also had a brand new '08 CL600, black/black and were offering $45k off.

Yeah, I saw it too, I wasn't as impressed, wrote a little "review" though. It does look much better with the AMG pack IMO as the base just looks a bit "off" IMO.

I agree. It's designed strongly to come across a certain way, of course some will like that "way" and some won't. I'm sure it will sell well regardless, as E's always do, and the fact that it's the cheapest E in recent history will help it immensely.
