Hi Guys,

I just got a 2010 E350 White on black with pano roof. My lease on the S550 just finished so I decided to get the E.

I love the car and it's amazing.

The only problem is the iPod charger inside the glove-compartment does not charge my iPhone 3G.

I purposely did not get the HID lights because I like the double fog lights (the fog light + Daytime Running Lights)

I want to know what sets of rims I should get. I want to get 20s.

Congrats! I just got the 2010 E350 Steel Gray w/ pano roof. Car is great and I am also having the same issue w/ the iPhone.

Seems like White is the popular color on this car. I think it by far suits the car better than other ones.

Can you write a review on how it compares to the S550? I'd be really interested to hear.

Great to hear! I am waiting on an Indium Gray by end of Sep. No pano roof but most of the other options. Since I switched from iPhone to BB phone not an issue i hope. iPod for music and BB bluetooch for phone,

Congrats!. Any pics? I am deciding between this and the palladium silver with chestnut brown interior. What you think about the brown interior with the white?.

IMHO almond looks great, BUT without the sports package. The sports pkg bringds in the black dash and door panels. The almond w/o sport looks clean and seamless. The black breaks up the flow. I guess the options are too much for the MB shop floor to handle; having the sports package without the black headliner and dash I mean.

Congrats: Mine is palladium silver with black interior, standard sunroof and sports steering wheel with AMG wheels. The sunroof seems to be closing and tilting up when I unlock the car after locking in the dark with sunroof open. Some say its a feature but I really like to disable it. I will be interested to see if the panoramic sunroof does the same thing.

Congrats. You can always add the HIDs later, no biggie. I never understood why they put the damn ipod connector in the glovebox and not in the center armrest like many cars do.

Congrats on the car - am planning to get the 2010 E350 when my lease runs out in December.

The "damn ipod connector" never worked for me on my '07 E350!! I did not have an ipod initially, and when I got an iPhone, it was not compatible with the connector. So a total waste of the $500 they charged for the connector.

Hopefully the experience with the 2010 will be better (other than iPhone issue)

I am glad that I got Windows mobile based smart phone, so no iPhone hassle.

It's not a problem. The newer iPhones use a slightly different charging port that is still the same old 30-pin connector, but has something new to it (which currently slips my mind). These aren't compatible with the plugs MB is putting into their cars, which is the older style without the something extra needed to charge the iPhone. The first gen iPhone is the only iPhone that will charge since it has the older style plug.
