Porsche Macan S SportDesign / Ex M-B's: 11 & 10 & 06 E350's, 02 S500
The used between 3-8K miles E550 are already being sold for between 51-58K depending on the options and some new ones between 57-61K also depending on their options... You could always assume you could bargain and get a couple K's less than the price listed. But I'm hoping I could get a new one for the price I mentioned, so if there is any dealers or salesmen out here, feel free to contact me via PM
And I know what it is.... It isn't even blatant depreciation.
It's due to the fact that MSRP on a Mercedes-Benz has become a JOKE. They are selling these cars at so much lower than MSRP, or even "Invoice", that it's impossible for them to hold a proper value.
Car makers never seem to learn. They got into so much trouble for giving Leases away to anyone with a Paycheck, that they got close to BK. Now, to get people in cars, they're just whoring them out. It's like they aren't even looking ahead to when these Leases are up, and the Residuals are hilariously higher than the cars real worth (and this is even WITH them adjusting to much lower residuals now than before), how are they going to meet their predicted profit margins on each car?

71% RV
Same thing here with the taxes 9.75. I usually d my due diligence when leasing a car. This time around didn’t really have any time to do any research. Went in for Service on my wife's GL and ended up leasing the E.

Same here ^^.
You seem to be on track for the same deal I got, more or less, just with a year and 3 months less.
I went to look at various cars, one being a Used W212 (optioned lower than the one I got as well), and ended up Leasing a new P2/Pano model.
I did a decent enough job where I got a slightly better deal than a couple of people I personally know did, and I stood relatively firmly on my initial offer, so I got them down to that.
Where I went "wrong" is I still didn't get the deal I'm capable of getting when I research. I had no idea about anything re: Leasing. Next time around, if I Lease again, I'm gonna know exactly what I'm doing.

MBWorld Fanatic!
MB has no choice as lower price to be able to sell cars. Even 2011 Buick LaCrosse
AWD with features bringing MB to shame cost 20 grands cheaper. I really do not see any reason to pay high $ for MB.

Sale price is awesome, $14K below sticker, your lease payments would be around $500 in California including taxes.

It's not a bad deal for a '11 with P2. Seems pretty good for a car with no incentives or "Blowout" sales.
What's the residual on that btw??

That seems good, and better than some 24 month Leases I've seen gotten for the W212. Most seem to be paying about $21K or so, through the duration of the 24 month Lease.
Your numbers came out to $19,536. For the 36 months you were quoted for, the total was around $30-$31K. So it seems you're a bit ahead with your current plan.
