I was getting a lot of creaking / stretching noises from the front springs when i would turn my steering wheel all the way in either direction. I had the installation re inspected and everything was done right. Then i found out it is due to the fact that the diesel powertrain is much heavier than a E 350 and even a E 550. About 400 lbs heavier than a E 350.
I made a thread about it and a member said his buddy had a E 250 with lowering springs and the same exact thing was happening to him and not to worry but i was still worried. Also i would bottom out a lot if im going 70 mph or over on an abrupt dip in the freeway. I love this car and im going to buy it so i want to take better care of it then banging it on the floor. I was thinking of coilovers but im not sure the same thing wont happen with them so i just went back to stock for now. Im more interested in an Air Lift system than coilovers as of the moment though.

2014 E350 Sedan 4Matic, 2011 E350 Coupe
Just joined and first post. My 2014 E350 4Matic. Bought it in December and really enjoying this car. Lotta fun driving to as well as showing up at the mountain bike trails in this. Next mod after the roof rack is bigger and wider rims, assuming I can ever make a decision after endlessly researching on here and the rest of the web.

We've had lots of experience with the W212 platform. Would love to help you narrow your search down to the perfect wheel for you. Give me a holler once you're ready to talk wheels

Thanks thewb.
Been to your site more than a dozen times as part of the ad nauseum research that I've been doing. Since this is intended to be the smoother riding counterpart to my 20 year old Landcruiser, I'm planing to go with 19" diameter wheels in a staggered 8.5/9.5 width setup to keep the diameter identical front and back and the 4Matic happy.
Gotta say that I'm pretty excited to be able to write that paragraph above which is largely thanks to this forum

Thanks for providing one more pic of your car Diesel #2 because I love the look and have downloaded every picture that you've posted here, filing all of them under my "Vertini RF1.1" folder.
I especially like the brushed titanium look and am also looking at the new Vertini RF1.3 since it also comes in titanium and a 19" diameter and has more of the Niche Vicenza look but with evenly spaced spokes.
Decisions, decisions, decisions....

Cool, appreciate the kind words.
Vertini RF 1.3 are very nice as well, and are part of their rotary forged division. If you need help with wheel / tire sizes feel free
