Hmm, interesting.

I'll bet she did, if she's anything like my GF, things like White stitching get more attention than the actual design of a car. She's literally oblivious as to whether my car would be a Maybach or a C-Class, however some of the little interior treatments she'll get excitable about.

That pic shows how much that little white stitching adds to the flavor of the interior up there IMO. Little touches like that are nice, why don't we get that love?!

One thing that was annoying for me was paying for the white stitching with the AMG-package and then loose it when I choose multi contour seats which I wanted and found more important. That was also swhy I didn't go for the driver's assist stuff since I didn't what to loose the sport wheel as well... Don't like these either this or that choices.

Yeah, that does suck. Would be nice if one thing didn't cancel out the other.

Aside from the heated seats, which we obviously could have got on just about any car, the #1 selling point for her was the power rear sunshade. Cracks me up.

Yup, sounds about right!

The wooden "door" that hydraulically lifts when pressing a little chrome button, revealing the 6-Disk in Dash CD Player in my E is faar more appealing than anything else that went into putting its sale price at over $60K.

Heated Seats are always a biggie with the "hers" of the world, the Massage Seats on mine were a winner as well.

haha nice. Although I guess I shouldn't talk too much. Even after having the car for 6 years I would still point out how cool I thought the gauges on my Mazda3 looked at certain times of the day. She would then remind me that, yes, I had in fact pointed it out before.

Sadly, we couldn't get the massage seat. Couldn't find it in conjunction with all the other things we wanted and we didn't have time to wait for a car to be built. My biggest regret is not deciding to buy the car sooner so I could've gotten exactly what I wanted. Oh well, something to look forward to I guess.

All E Coupes with Black interiors in the US get the white stitching, not sure about the rest of world.

As for the sedan, in the rest of the world, as far as I know the only interior color choice for the AMG Sport Package is a Black interior. I am glad that in the US we can get the Sport Sedan with AMG Styling and our choice of interior colors.

Yeah, I know what you mean. My car has dual Massage/DD Seats, but no heated seats. Don't really need it all that much in Cali, but would be nice.

My S500 had everything, heated and cooled seats, massage, power sunshades, radar distronic, parking sensors, pretty much all the little bragging and/or beeping gadgets that made the GF "ooh" and "aah".

As far as how much the size and styling made an impact on her, let's just say she mistook my Rental Hyundai Elentra for it once in my parking spot! To her defense, they both were Silver.
