Mocha Black
I'm considering getting the Designo Mocha Black on my E550 rather than flat black. I've only seen it in pictures. Has anyone seen it and does it really have a different look in person vs. flat black? Also, is the Designo paint of a higher quality than standard metallic?

There's a Mocha Black W220 I've seen occasionally in town.
It's a nice color. It has a high metallic content, so in the mid-day sun it sparkles.
In low lighting conditions, I suppose it could be mistaken for flat black at first glance.
The color is hard to describe. The metallic is more of a silvery brown to me. I've attached some pics.
The last photo is a C320 in (I believe) 040 flat black, the E55 parked next to it is Mocha Black.
"Higher quality" in regards to it's durability (swirl marks, scratch resistance)? I don't know.
Not sure if you've seen the UK Designo configurator "here"
The mystic brown paint looks interesting.
What are you thinking of going with, for the interior?

The chestnut brown leather would go great with the flat black,
not so sure about the mocha black .
Natural Beige (standard leather) or sand, light brown, porcelain, pastel yellow (Designo Nappa leather)
would be better suited to the mocha (in my opinion).
I found a 2010 Designo order guide (from MB Canada) with all the color/trim codes "here". (in PDF format)
