Here's one (heated seat) for you...
MB Heads: hello.......
Today as I was in and about my car, I noticed a small indention on my driver seat
that wasn't there before. It kind of looks like coil from a coil that would heat the seat. It even feels like it's closer to the surface than one would want. Guess my question is: has anyone ever seen a coil to close to the surface of the heated seat? and seen damage as a result?
I wanted to start here for feedback before seeking dealer input, many thanx.......................................
also wanted to say I've never had a car with heated seats........it's friggin' grand I'll tell ya....

The seats don't have traditional "coils" installed for the heating function. They use an inductive weave that is integrated into the leather. Pics would help diagnose what you've noticed.

Oh, but it is an option! It's available via special order. It's not shown on MBUSA.com -- just like many other options -- but it's in the dealers' computer systems.
