Very nice, you did all the ultimate "clean" mods, which gives the car a minimalist, yet eye catching and unique vibe. Very well done.

Very very nice!!! Great photography as well. I agree with Kevin, it's a shame the dealer put in the holes for the front license plate. Prior to my '11 coming in I requested "no holes" be drilled for a front plate... Thanks for posting!!!

nice ride.....
and yeah, those holes suck!
I'm glad here in NC we only need the rear.....
I guess that's what the thing in my trunk is......a license plate holder??
enjoy your badge less car!

If I'm not mistaken, those rims are either genuine, or duplicate W211 E63 optional wheels (P30 Package maybe?). Maybe they're also available on the W212 E63, but I know that style was used on the W211.
Great looking wheels, although I'm not a fan of the "studs" lining the entire outer lip, but they give an interesting look nonetheless.

W211
Thanks for the kind words.
Front license plate drill marks. Ya it sorta sucks that they drilled the holes into the front bumper, but they usually do that unless you get a custom. I'm gonna get them filled and painted in the near future. No big.
Wheels. The wheels are 19 x 8.5/9.5 genuine AMG wheels. They were an option upgrade wheel for certain classes. Think the ones I got were from an S or CLS class. I think they are the best looking AMG wheels out there atm. The option upgrade is something like $10K but I bought them used for a fraction of the price.
Think the only thing I need to do now is plug the holes and attach the spoiler that should be arriving shortly. After that onto the 63 engine.
Dunno if this looks familiar to anyone but this was my previous ride.

Wheel Offset
Can't remember the offset. Wouldn't be able to find it without taking off the wheels.
But I have H&R 10mm spacers on front and back. The fit was right on for my W211 w/ the spacers and a bit aggresive on my W212 w/ the spacers. I might have to drop down a bit in size on the spacers.

W211 vs. W212
Not to get into too much detail about it...
But I loved the W211. I loved the way it looked better than the W212 at first. I also liked the way the W211 drove and felt driving. It seemed to have a lower center of gravity so it felt more like a sports car.
I love my W212 as well. I am starting to like the way the W212 looks better than the W211. Unfortunately the W212 drives a bit like a luxury sedan. More like the S Class. It sorta feels like driving a boat at times. The interior on the W212 is way better than the W211.
If I were to pickup an E63, I would prefer the W211. Can't imagine driving a boat w/ a 63 engine.

I am digging those Performance wheels as well...
Now, a nice set of Brembo wil set them off nicely.
