OFFSET: Offset on the wheels is 43 for all 4 from what I remember. Reason I had to use the spacer for fitment.
SPRINGS: H&R Sport Springs. Think there is only one for the W212 that is "sport". The car was dropped less then 2 days before the pictures were taken. Think the car dropped another 1/4-1/2" since then. I don't think it would be possible to drop it more with the offset of my wheels atm. I would have to downsize in spacer to have the wheels stick in the wheel well a bit more if I wanted it any lower. The 212 has a very nice smooth luxury ride and the Springs didn't take much away from it. When I had the same type of springs on my W211 with the same wheels, I could feel every bump/pothole/crack in the road. Not with the 212.
I could be wrong, but the difference between the 350 and 550 is the engine size. Not the suspension/handling/feel.
The boaty feeling I was referring to was more about the way the 212 drives and not the power behind it.
Vic55's 63 is sick. Hands down best 212 I've seen on the forums. But because of the boaty feel, I would just prefer the 211 63 because of the same suspension/handling/feel. Just my 2 cents.

Your car looks really nice glad you're enjoying it. BTW in my opinio W212 can be a little boatish which is why I opted for 550 and lowered it, the performance is dramatically improved. Now on the other hand the W212 E63 is in a class above the the W211 E63 (maybe not in quarter mile performance but in most other areas IMO), had I wanted to spend the dough I would have gone after one of those. I am sure everyone has seen some of the great setup (of W212 63) like VIC55's, WOW.

Suspension...
Probably should have done more research on the W212 before buying it. Never even took my car for a test drive. Was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. Had them get the paperwork and car ready before I got there and did a 30 sec visual inspection before signing.
Guess it wouldn't have mattered anyays since I didn't have the $ to go 550.
49K for a 56.5K sticker, zero down and .9% financing.
I am however, very curious as to how the 550 drives.

Loyalty discount
I think the salesperson said they knocked off an additional 2k off of the price because I had a W211 that was also financed with MBFinancial.

Ah. Nice, unfortunately I didn't get that "rebate" from Financial crooks because I payed off my loan way in advance. I guess they don't reward ultimate responsibility.

MB Financial
My W211 was financed w/ MBFinancial. I bought the car CPO from MB about 8 months ago and had all kinds of overheating problems. Hired a lemon law lawyer and got all my money back for all of the payments I made for the W211.
Of course I didn't mention that to my salesperson at the time of my purchasing the W212. Returned the W211 2 days after picking up my W212.

The 550 drives great, the power difference/feel over the 350 is leaps and bounds. I initially was going to get the 350 but my concerns about the acceleration power and handling were proven with one test drive. I had driven an E350 coupe and it drives much tighter and quicker because it is a sport coupe/based on the C chassis (which I love) and 400lbs lighter. The sedan is much more of luxury commuter car as the sport package really only adds looks and not much to the driving experience.
As for the handling, the airmatic certainly works. The ride does get a little rougher on the sport setting but not that noticeable, it does makes a big difference in the curves and corners.
Overall, it is a great car and I cannot imagine being any happier in a 550i, GS450 or M56

I'm debating between the H&R Springs and KW Coilovers...a petpeeve of mine is when the springs are higher on one side then the other...I like the drop on yours tho, in person is one side higher in the other?

H&R Sport springs for the W212 a perfect. Even drop front and back.
I had H&R Sport springs for my previous ride, a W211. For some reason one end was like a 1/4-1/2" lower. Dont have that same problem with the W212.
