19" Mandrus Mannheim on E350 Sedan
Just got em on. Wanted to take pictures at stock height. The late afternoon sun, kind of makes it hard to see the gap on most of the pics, so I took some weird angle ones to try and show you all.
I have an appointment to drop it on H&Rs tomorrow. I'll try and take some more pics afterwards, and then follow up after the springs settle. A quick shout out to FXAutodesign. They assisted me when I was interested in purchasing wheels and springs from them. They were patient and answered all my questions. Even though I didn't buy wheels from them, they still gave me a great price on the springs, and shipped them quickly, and they arrived in perfect shape. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...320800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...319800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...318800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...317800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...315800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...313800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...312800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...310800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...306800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...304800x450.jpg |
wow, I have the exact same wheels.......but 18's...........I rocked the "M" center cap
for a few weeks and just changed to the ones you have except mine are the black ones...... I was planning on also getting the black ones Mandrus makes...........just for a spare set and the ability to change them when the mood strikes............. looks nice, but of course I have a biased opinion......lol |

Thanks for the comments everyone. I have an appointment to drop the car today. I'll post pictures if possible, it's pretty nasty outside, so not sure if they will come out good. |

Forgot to mention the ride...
Surprisingly, it's not very different. That has to be a testament to the MB's suspension. Still smooth, not very loud at all. I'm sure that'll be much different after the drop. We'll see. |
Dropped yesterday. Waaay too cold to take pics, so I'll get them over the next day or two. Looks great to me so far, and they will settle a little more.
I'm super surprised at the ride quality. Man, it's still smooth. Given not AS smooth as before, but it is still darn nice. |

Snake,
Looks good! Looking forward to seeing the post-drop pics as well |
Nice car and rims. Was considering eventually replacing the stock rims on my wife's 07. They're the 10 twin spoke rims and are a nightmare to clean. I'm guessing these are relatively easy? Was considering the Reggenmeister rim but see they've discontinued them so,... Her car is flint gray, so I'm thinking the colored insets would look good, but I haven't seen them. Sometimes it's so close it looks bad if it's not a match. Enjoy.

Do you remember what offsets the wheels are at?

As far as offsets, sorry I don't know. The only info I know is from http://mandruswheels.com/mannheim.php |
Great looking wheels and they look very appropriate on the car. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the car lowered when available.

was wondering if you were going to get different center caps or leave the blue ones?

I would like to get black ones, I actually didn't know if they had them until you mentioned them. 100 dollars for a set of center caps seems a bit...ouch haha. Perhaps in the future, but I can live with the blue ones for now. They worked with the stock wheels in this black car, so I'm cool with them for now. Do you happen to have some pics of the black center caps? |
I'm still working on a new gallery for my page, lol.......
and yeah.......100 bones for those things......lol.....guess it was worth it..... |
As you can see, very conservative drop so far.
I'll revisit if I notice more settling. Sorry the full side shot doesn't really show the wheel gap too well b/c of lighting. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...340800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...339800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...338800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...337800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...336800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...335800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...334800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...333800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...332800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...331800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...330800x450.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y34...329800x450.jpg |
I think it looks great. Congrats
|
Very tasteful!
|
I am not a big fan of the extremely low Merc's so to me you current drop looks good.
Very nice IMO. |
