I want to go with 15mm, but the issue here is, my car is lowered and when parked, the back is tucked in with the Renntech module. So I thought 10mm is safer. I'm just doing the rears btw. ThreeMB's, will I be okay in terms of rubbing or will I need to roll my fenders. And does that change your view on 10 vs 15mm.
Shaytun, my comments were related to stock ride hight only. And I stand by them.
I do not know how low your car is and how much the wheels are tucked in. The best advice I can give you is to measure from outside tire to the inside of a fender. It should give you an idea what width spacers to use, if at all (remember, you can not use 5mm spacer at the rear for sure; and maybe not even at the front if W212 4matics still use same front and rear hubs as W211 4matics did in the past).

Im recently lowered my w205 sport 4matic and looking to get spacers as well. i have the stock double spoke 18in amg's and want to keep them, just need to get the stance right. I bought a pair of h&r trak + 10mm spacers for the front and looking to get 15mm for the rear. Should be just plug n play right? Any suggestions/concerns?
^ car looks great mate! love the white with pano! but you might get a better response from the 205 section. nonetheless, should be a direct bolt on unless you need a spacer with a lip for the front (not sure) and make sure you have long enough bolts. goodluck!

Chuck, it's absolutely vital that you get the correct length lug bolts, especially in the rear. You have to measure your current lugs, convert the measurement to mm, then add +10mm to the length for the front and +15mm for the rear. Then order the closest length lug bolts to what you measured for each.
1. There's nothing unique, as far as spacers are concerned, about E550 nor 4matics. Same spacers as for E350 will fit E550 as well.
2. 5mm spacers CAN NOT be used at the rear of ANY passanger non-SUV Mercedes - there is simply not enough hub lip left to "seat" the wheel safely on.
See pictures below:
In picture #1, 5mm spacer installed on front hub of W211 (only front hubs on some models look like this) - still pleanty of "lip" left to seat the wheel on.
In picture #2, 10mm spacer installed on rear hub of W211 (front hubs on some models, i.e. W211 E350/550 4matics look like this and ALL rear hubs look like this).
If hub looks like one in picture #1 - long lip with a cap - 5mm spacer can be used.
If hub looks like one in picture #2 - short lip (about 7/8mm) with no cap - 5mm spacer can not be used. Minimum 10mm spacer.
So to clarify, 10mm spacer is thinner than 5mm spacer? Thanks!
After much consideration of different wheel styles, sizes and finishes, I have ultimately (for now anyway) decided to stick with my 18" stock wheels since I am so indecisive and want my stance to be perfect both technically and aesthetically, which means I need to do more homework but until then I would like to improve my current situation, hence the spacers.. I actually like the wheels but want them to be flush with the fenders and shall install 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm on rear.
As for the (hopefully near) Future setup...
Front: 20 x 8.5 / 32et on 245/30/20 tires
Rear: 20 x 10 / 42et on 275/30/20 tires
I believe I got the size and offsets correct with regards to the wheels based on my reading of your comments on other threads on the topic but I am a bit confused on the tires.. will not lower the car (unless I should?) and I don't want to stretch the tires.. So for the front, assuming you're using DR 15mm H&R spacers part number 3055665 or 30556659 (both will fit), you need (10) 43mm ball/round seat bolts.
For the rear, assuming you're using DR 20mm H&R spacers part number 4055665, you need (10) 48mm ball/round seat bolts. Since noone make 48mm ball seat *****, you can use 47mm or 50mm. However, if you're using DRA 20mm H&R spacers part number 40556654, then spacers will come with special bolts to attach them to car's hub first, then use your stock bolts to attach wheels to spacers (which in this case will serve as a "new" hub). Personally, I would not use DR spacers wider then 15mm, so for rear DRA spacers is the way to go, IMO.
As was mentioned above, alway use torque wrench set to 96 for these cars.

The parts you ordered don't seem to be hub centric and that may be an issue. Based on my research, usually those type of spacers (non hub centric) would be fine at 4mm or less.

I would not recommend using 20mm spacer on stock spec. wheels especially when you plan on lowering it. You will be rubbing even if you roll your fenders which I would not do in the first place.

These are from ECS Tuning and I have been told that they are hub centric
I do not recommend 15mm. My suggestion is 12mm all around 4 corners. Put the 2x12mm spacers you have now on the front, drive around and see if they are rubbing/look flush and do the same on the rear. Rubbing is the main concern if you lower your car then how flush it sits depends on personal style.
