RDL bulb suggestions for 2010 circular not L style
Newbie. I am in the process of replacing my running day light bulbs for the 2010 e350, circular version. I came across these led model: sh23w from :
http://store.ijdmtoy.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=sh23w
Anyone use them before. Are they any better than Sylvania Silverstar 9005?
http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-9005-...4062900&sr=8-1
Any other better options/suggestions?

I received a PM from Mixedfruits who was the original poster that purchased from ijdmtoy.com.
He stated "no modification at all. Just a snug fit so hard to install"

Now, I am starting to question the earlier poster about his E550 not fitting. Maybe he ordered the wrong item. From his post, its not clear what he ordered?
Anyhow, I end up buying from an ebay seller for the SH23W $35 for 2 shipped ( these appears to be the same items as from ijdmtoy.com $50)

I can afford waste the $35. Will report back if it doesn't fit.

My experience is that those LEDs do not fit. I tried on my E550 with round halogen bulb fogs (P1 style) and did not fit the bulb socket, nor did the wiring harness fit the bulb plug.
The factory unit is quite interesting, as it has a metal cap on the back that is really not intended to be removed and replaced repeatedly. It bends a lot when you take it off and is difficult to replace tightly. I guess if it burns out, the replacement must be the entire unit, not just the bulb, that MB sells.

Pain in the butt to get access. If removing the right fog light turn the wheel to the right to gain access. Three screw behind the wheel well lining (look for a hidden on in the center of the lining. There are three more screws on hte bottom of the lining (access from the bottom of the car). Got as far as pulling off the running light plug. I had trouble removing the existing bulb off the casing. There are three metal clips holding the bulb. I could not figure out how to remove it. May be someone on the forum can help. I did attempt to test the fitting of the new bulbs. My car is a 2010 w212.
The LED bulbs (SH23W) I got off ebay did not fit.
Maybe some can point the right direction.
