Amazing shots, I don't know what effect you are using or may be it's down to lenses when you shot these photos :D

well, I used to live in Quebec...great place, btw.

Snow melts unevenly because it melts where it is warmest first. That is a function of the thickness of the hood (thinner -- as in in between support structure -- melts first) and proximity to the warmest bits (right over the engine).

Looks very weird, but when you open the hood and look up, you see the exact same pattern.

Thanks alot! They were just taken with my iphone4 and played with on instagram. (like twitter/facebook but only pictures)
