Best prices for online OEM parts?
I am going to try and change my water pumps, pulley, tensioner, belt on my 2005 CDI.
1. is OEM pump worth the premium price? 2. if not, then is GMB or Beck Arnley any good? 3. Where's the best and cheapest place to buy these goods? Thanks! |
try parts dot com.

Not sure if parts.com is the best, but its way cheaper than the stealer for oem parts.

All I'm hearing is that OEM is the only way to go for the water pump. Once I buy the parts I'd like to find someone who has actually changed their own pump and has posted the results. How long did it take? Degree of mechanical proficiency needed? Accessibility easy or hard? Can yo do it from the bottom or best from the top?
I'm looking to replace the pump and tensioner and pulley. Anything else? Is OEM coolant a necessity? Thanks for the quick reply~ David |

My big question is do they carry OEM? Apparently the big thing now is to say you are OE...but where is the M? Can you buy actual Mercedes parts on the cheap? Or at least cheaper?

like what i said, the items that i ordered from them are actually shipped from one of the dealerships in illinois. unless that dealer is selling knockoffs, otherwise i'm pretty sure they are oem.
