RobbieRob 04-16-2012 09:58 PM

Looks awesome....

Ryden88 04-16-2012 11:05 PM

Clean setup, big! nice touches all around. i like how your center caps pull your tails into line with the color. thanks for posting.

Esm86 04-17-2012 02:59 AM

Looks really good!! :D:D

What have you done to all the chrom? Painted? :)

BenzV12 04-17-2012 04:24 AM

These tires too skinny but if you are happy with these then no problem :D

Your wheels look cool but mostly being all black you can not judge how cool these are from a distance

leapingpoint 04-17-2012 04:54 AM

wow, looking great!
what lowering springs did you use?

He used vogtland springs one of the best ones :y

bigigg 04-17-2012 05:10 AM

Thanx guys.. ESM- the chrome around the windows I vinyled flat black, the strips on the doors i removed, and the rest I painted flat black.. My grille is gloss and flat black, i'll have to take more pics to show it. BENZV12- if you meant skinny as in the sidewall, these are the biggest you can go with 20's. Lowered on Vogtland springs.

BM2BZ 04-17-2012 05:19 AM

looks very cool :y! could be that much better w/the c in the pic as well :p:.

BenzV12 04-17-2012 05:19 AM

Yep, I meant as in sidewall but when you go for 20s you can not pick up taller ones . Skinny sidewall looks cool but could compromise ride comfort compared to stock tires

bigigg 04-17-2012 06:18 AM

I'm debating on painting the rear spoiler black also.. idk

clmulli 04-17-2012 06:27 AM

Sweeet! Love it! Thanks for sharing. I think you should paint the rear spoiler.

PHML 04-17-2012 06:46 AM

Looks awesome...very nice fit...btw, hows the ride on those springs? Did you upgrade shocks too? Any rubbing on bumps?

bigigg 04-17-2012 07:22 AM

Thank you! Ride Isnt bad at all.. Im on stock shocks, I do get slight rubbing in the front only when I hit a dip, wheel is turned and im traveling at a decent speed.. Doesnt happen very often, and I cant tell where its rubbing. There is no marks on the tire and fender looks fine.

hyperion667 04-17-2012 07:39 AM

looks nice main, I'm getting some HRE's that look just like that........
what kind are they?

thanx for sharing

bigigg 04-17-2012 07:49 AM

You cant go wrong with a set of HRE's.. These are made by MRR wheels, they also make Roderick.. its there "Eurotek" line. There were 2 other wheels I liked, but without spending big $ on a 3 piece wheel, and our high offsets its slim pickin for us.. I knew i wanted all black anc concave, my 1st choice would have been a split 5 or 6 spoke wheel. Im happy with my choice.

hyperion667 04-17-2012 07:54 AM

no doubts man, they look great. I opted for this style because I have not had 'mesh' wheels yet, haha........of course HRE deposits are not refundable......so that kind of wiggs me out......

wanted something different for myself.....
the vossens might have to go LOL.......
hope the three piece wheels hold up for ya...

bigigg 04-17-2012 08:01 AM

I like the vossens on your cls! I was also looking at a 10 spoke style, where the spoke starts out thicker in the center and gets skinny towards the lip.

hyperion667 04-17-2012 08:02 AM

I'll probably sell them if the hre's work out.......don't need three extra sets of wheels:smash:

HRE_Wheels 04-17-2012 11:43 AM

Which HRE's did you end up ordering?

sliu6122 10-25-2012 01:09 AM

Does anyone know where to order some vogtland springs for the w212? Out of H & R and Eibach it seems like this one drops the call the most.

ImInPA 10-25-2012 08:44 AM

Looks great! Watch out for potholes.

AKnight55 10-31-2012 03:11 PM

I just got these springs. I'm glad I found this thread because the fronts sit perfect but the rears are still to high imo. I'm gonna probably take 3/4 round out of the rears to sit flush.
