Owner's Manual replacement

Hey everyone,

I've used the search, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find what I need to know, so here goes:

Is it possible to order a replacement owner's manual with the original carrying "pouch" and all the additional booklets that come with a new W212?

I also asked at the dealership and they weren't able to give me a straight answer.

Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck finding them on e-bay. I recently bought one for my wife's 2010 ML350 for around $60.00.

sounds like your salesperson doesn't know what he/she is doing. i'm sure your dealer can order you the whole set. it could be free if you have nice relationship w/them.

We bought it used, and unfortunately it came without the manual.

Thanks, I will search ebay to see what I can find.

If you bought the vehicle certified pre-owned and not just "used," they owe you a manual.

doesn't matter. like amaycg said, they owe you one if yours is cpo. if not, they still can order a set for you. free or not, depends on your relationship w/them. btw, why do you need it anyway? you can read everything on their site. i know it might feel like a missing piece but it takes up a lot of glovebox space if you are going to put it there.

I appreciate the advice, but as you said I feel like the car is missing a piece.

The car was not CPO btw.

if you couldn't get it from one dealer, try another. it shouldn't be that hard for them to order a set for you. it ain't rocket science.

Agreed. Call around to different M-B dealers around your area and go from there. What type of dealer did you purchase from? If it was a M-B (used) dealer, then I'm hard-pressed to believe that they won't get you an owner's "pack" for you...? Not good business... But if it was some random (non M-B) dealer, then I'm not surprised. So, if the latter applies, call around to various M-B dealers and see what you can get out of them. :)
