well 20x10 42et is basically flush with outer fender.. soo your 6mm in more, not a huge difference. possibly rubbing on bottom of spring plate? or just the inner wheel well.. your car doesnt look lowered, is it?

You're rubbing in the rear? Are you sure its not upfront? With 20x8.5 et45 wheel mounted with 245/35-20 (26.8" diameter) tire that front wheel/tire combo must be seating right "on" front pearch (unless MB removed that plate for 2012(?) - I haven't examined 2012s yet).
On my 2010 Es front wheel/tire with your setup (tire hight and wheel offset) would not even turn. My 235/35-20 with 20x8.5 et32 is very close to front's pearch plate, with higher offset it would touch, with 245/35-20...well forget about it.
How accurate is the information? I remember from a different thread that your 2012 E350 has Airmatic - must be the only such car in the US.

went to local rim shop, it was front rims that was touching the shocks.
2012 MB changed their shocks so I had to change the front tires to 225/35 and now its perfect.
About Airmatic i was wrong there is no airmatic in e350's only e550 but its additional option.

Mercedes did not change their shocks for 2012 - an other misinformation.
If you had paid attention, you would have avoided 245/35-20 as I mentioned in that "other" thread. The correct size for front is 235/35-20. It is especially correct since you have a 4matic. Both 225/35-20 (that "they" suggested) and 245/35-20 (that "they" told you to use in the first place, that you found out does not fit) are wrong due to unequal front/rear diameters for 4matic - must be the same of within .1".
In addition, due to high front offsets of your wheels, in order to use 235/35-20 tires (as you should), you must use 10mm spacer on front (H&R part number 20556659) with 10mm longer bolts than currently.
You come here for advice. When given by people (obsolutely free) who know what they're talking about, I suggest for you to use it. Good luck.

Oh really? You weren't asking questions you were stating BS:
BS #1. You stated (not asked) you'll use 245/35-20 front. It was stated it will not fit. You - ignored it. Result? You had to change front tires (and still to the incorrect for 4matic and in load carrying capacity for W212 E-class). Ignorance #1.
BS #2. You started this thread stating that you're rubbing at the rear. You were told here that due to incorrect front tires you're rubbing at the front, not rear. How difficult is it to know where you're rubbing? Hint - you can hear it relatively easy. Ignorance #2.
BS #3(and its the best one). E350s have Airmatic for 2012? What does it have to do with wheels/tires knowledge? A complete ignorance on your part and lack of knowledge about car you bought. Ignorance #3.
This is my last response to user Benzio. As was mentioned above by someone else, not worth the effort and time.

Ok my comment was useless, I was better off not saying anything. I'll keep that in mind for the future. Anyway stop blowing the newbie. The point is "Three" and I tried to help the guy out, He obv didn't listen or take the time out to do research and hes stating false info. All I know is my wheels fit lovely and by car looks great. No issues here.
