Power Steering Fluid and Engine Covers help

Hi All,

I like to know where all the fluid checkpoints are on my new ride. Apparently, to check the power steering you need to remove the engine covers. I easily removed the front cover. How do you remove the rear cover?

Also, when I put the front cover back I heard a clicking noise in the back for the clips but not on the front of the front cover with the pegs. How do I know I put it back correctly?

Your cover must be different than mine.Mine is one piece that's held on by pins at the four corners (well, approximately at the corners).

To replace the cover you must peek underneath as your lowering it...you'll see the pins line up.At least that's how it is with mine.

Mine is a 2013. So yours has pins (or pegs) not clips?

Yes,mine's held on by four pegs. It's also a diesel so that might be a factor.I'm not familiar with clips so I can't help ya.But given how easy *mine* is it's hard to imagine yours being too difficult...but I guess I could be wrong.

I'm sure this is going to sound like a ridiculous question but I am at a dead end.
I can't find the power steering reservoir on my 2014 E350 Wagon. It has the 276 952 engine.
I have currently (and previously owned) several MB models. The usual spot for the reservoir is on the front right side when facing the car. To the right of the oil filter cap usually. (My ML, C Class and GLK reservoirs were in that area.)
It's not there in this car. Does this engine have one? I have looked everywhere. Taken the front engine cover off. Nothing! Pics attached Where is this thing??
Please advise. Thank you.https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...18b7da573e.jpg

I got my answer on this from some nice folks in another forum. Electric assist power steering on this vehicle. Which means no reservoir or fluid top off protocol.
