Little Things You Miss?
 

OK, it's a slow Friday afternoon...

What little things have you missed about your old car once you upgraded?

I had an E350 and miss the pen holder in the center console. Why don't all cars have this?

I also miss the storage under the front seats.

My friend just bought a BMW 535i, and I have to admit other than their idrive, I find that my E350 is better in a lot of ways.. Dual sunshades, storage under our front seats, standard rear sunshade. These little things are what make me love the w212 so much. We have it much better than a lot of cars. Because of this, not going to be upgrading anytime soon :)

the new (relatively) bmw 5 has a very unattractive ass. same goes for the M5 as well. the round tail pipes just don't mix with the design even for M5. spy photos already revealed the facelifted bmw 5 will have rectangular tail pipes similar to that of our E.

i know i missed something in my previous bmw but i really can't recall what they are :rolf:.

Gated shifter on the floor!

I had a 2004 E320 and I miss the dynamic passenger seat. Even though it is my car, I prefer to ride in it more than drive it.

ok, i remember. air circulation at a set time. so when you go back to your car, it ain't 200 degrees burning hot when you park outdoor.

What I miss
 

In my E350 I had the split fold rear seats...which made it really easy to slide my son's hockey sticks thru the rear seat armrest pass thru...my E550 doesn't have the split seats...kid getting taller - sticks get longer...hard to fit in back seat.

This is a great option that I wish all sedans had.

I really miss the steering feel in my 330i. It is eons better than both the w211 and w212. I don't miss the hard suspension as much.

I also a console-mounted shifter and a trans/computer that makes a really noticeable difference in sport mode.

I really miss having my s40 towed to the shop every other week......
oh wait!!!!

........I mean the nice soft seats in my s40 are about it...........

I have a pen holder in my center console. It is in the lid.

I miss the drive train clunk on my Escalade EXT!!!

It did have some awesome cooled seats though...

I miss being able to turn off the traction control totally, and with just one touch of a button.

I miss hearing this at the end of the day at the BMW service desk... "Oh, we got really busy today and didn't get to your car. Didn't someone call you before you came out? Think you can leave it with us another day?"

I miss the entertainment and navigation system in my 09 CTS. Far superior than what I have now. Also miss my a/c seats, automatic "walk away" door locking...but most of all, my remote start.

I always thought that was a reading glasses holder. Whatever it was for, agree--I miss it
