10K Year End Incentive 2013 E350
Hey Guys!
The local mercedes dealer in our area is offering a year end 10k discount on any instock New 2013 E350 Sedans. I noticed that the stock vehicle is priced at $51,000 MSRP. I was surprised that the Premium 1 package which in my opinion really should be included in the stock price is an additional 4k. The vehicle after discount with p1 package is pricing out to 45k + TTL.
Having never bought a brand new car I wanted to see if this indeed is a good discount as the dealer proclaims or do I have more room for bargain.
Thanks

2012 E350
That deal is pretty good imo. My friend just got 9k off of a p2 with parking sensors in the beginning of dec. I got my 2012 in Jan with 8k off almost and I thought that was pretty good.

That seems like a great deal! I was offered $7400 of MSRP yesterday on a $63,000 E-Class at a Ohio dealer. $10k off when make a big difference in my lease payments. But, have not heard of that kind of discount in Ohio.

Do you not want to see what the 2014 models will look like?

Sounds good, but car purchases are always low in December so most makes offer great deals. In case you missed all the TV ads for cars the last two months.
The base price of the E class went up some with 2012 and the P1 has always been about a $4-5,000 option, so the MSRP pricing sounds about right.
MBUSA and the dealers might be working hard to clear out 2013's before too many people decide to wait for the newly restyled 2014's to arrive. Some states also charge inventory taxes on anything sitting on the lot at end of year.
The Fiscal Cliff concerns aren't helping with car sales either.
Just make sure they don't low ball you on a trade-in or boost the interest rates.

In the SF area, there is an abundant supply of P1 cars, and my dealer offered the largest % off on P1 as compared to P2 equipped cars. I was close to trading my 2011 for a 2013 until I saw the pictures of the 2014 refresh, and I'm not willing to forego the P2 features I have now. At this point, I'd rather wait and likely pay more when the 2014's arrive. It seems the E's have been heavily discounted since the start, so I'm sure there will be a "deal" out there later, which is good, because the competion also looks good.

I would definitely go for the P2, just for the Bi-xenon lights alone. My next car will also have the folding rear seats, as that was a great retrofit on my former 2008 C-class. I used it quite a bit.
