C280 Sport

After months of searching for another car I had my heart set on a new E550 or E350 4Matic. I decided with prices coming down so much why not just buy a CPO Car? I searched high and low for a 2011 E550 4M but it seemed that between rude dealers(3X Over), not agreeing on a price or too far of a distance to travel it was just not ment to be. I wanted a white E with tan or almond interior and it had to have no pano roof, A/C seats and also the LED lights I am a huge sucker for those! I ended up finding a E350 4Matic with nearly all the same options except for of course airmatic and multicontour seats. So I jumped on the E350 4Matic instead.

19k miles CPO, 1 owner. P2, Leather, BIX, Nav, AMG Package, parktronic, A/C and heated seats, sunshade, Ipod integration,DVD and a bunch of other goodies I cannot remember. Flying to Boston from Albany, NY in the AM where the dealer will pick me up at the airport and enjoy the city for the day too! So much to do there! Then I will drive it back home Saratoga, NY. About a 3 hour ride home so I can really enjoy this car

Congrats. Hopefully you make it out there and back before the storm hits, but if not you get to see how great 4matic is. I'll have to look for you around town, there is only so many e's in saratoga, espicially this time of year.

Ended up just making it back. I did not forget the pics either. I snapped a couple only at the dealer and at some rest stops on the way back on I-90. I am loving the car so far. Only thing I cannot seem to get the hang of is the gear selector...Yea that could be a issue Other then that it is very very easy to work and use. I love the sound system in this car and the IPod kit is wonderful as my C and CL have it as well I could not go without it! The ride is fantastic! Better then my E320. I love the seats! They are very very comfortable! My MPG was about 26mpg but I did stop 4 times(Bathroom break, snack, gas, just to see that front end again. ) The transmission is very smooth and the car is rock solid! no squeeks or rattles unlike my C Class. Very well built with enough power and the engine is very calm and quite making it a wonderful highway cruiser. I will be trying out the 4Matic tomorrow as we are suppose to get 2 inches of snow. Anyways here are the pics! IPhone ones as I did not have time to take good ones. I had to be back in Albany to teach a class from 6-9pm so it was a very busy day indeed.

then you went to work an hour late . your boss was so pissed and waiting for you by the driveway . all of your nosy co-workers were peeking out the windows and waiting to see a good show . you pulled in with your new ride in style . your boss was too busy to check out your new baby, asked all kind of questions and forgot about your were an hour late . all of your nosy co-workers were disappointed and drooling at the same time. your boss dragged you to his office. those nosy people have their ears by the door the whole time and hoping for another big show. you came out from your boss's office couple hours later and he insisted to go lunch with you. those nosy morons were disappointed once again . you guys came back three hours later. your boss has the biggest grin on his face and asked you to go to his office one more time. everybody was puzzled . you walked out from his office an hour later and he patted your back with the most genuine smile ever . he couldn't thank you enough for letting him sit on the driver's seat for a minute and introduced him to this amazing forum . so you literally didn't do any of your work today but your boss still happier than you sit there 20 hours . end of story and that's the magic of w212 .

...somewhere in the story BM2BZ you forgot to mention C280_Sport politely declining the boss' attempts to swap with his black BMW535xi for a day....saying I'd never touch that thing, in fact I can see swirl marks and other imperfections on that paint job from a mile away...

Oops! That's was another car I looked at that had that. I looked at too many cars and after a while i thought they were all the same. Too many late night on autotrader and MBUSA lol. I thought this one had the P2. Thanks for the info. I knew today actually it didn't have BIx but I was so side tracked by the beautiful front end and LEDs

There are many magics I am finding out from this W212. Loving the car! I ended up getting 27.6 MPG today. Not bad at all! Also do you guys drive yours in E or C mode? It varies on other Benzes. Like my CL has the C/S mode

Mine is a completely stock steel grey 2012 sport. As far as what mode people drive in, I drive in E most of the time. I like how it shifts early and you can really feel the torque but the 12 is different than the 11.

before sw update, sport mode most of the time. after update, throttle delay gone, comfort mode most of the time .
